The Town of Bargersville currently serves 3,566 electric customers in the Bargersville and Whiteland area of Johnson County, Indiana. We are members of IMPA and are able to provide our customers with reliable low cost power.

NEW SERVICE
If you are moving into an existing residence or structure located within our service area, you will need to contact our office to have utility service started in your name. We will need a completed application and the address of the property. If your new residence or business is served by both Bargersville’s water and electric, it will only be necessary to complete one (1) application for utility service.
By law, we have three (3) business days to complete your request for service. Emergency services such as service restoration due to a storm or natural disaster takes priority over new service connections.
If you will be constructing or remodeling a brand new home or if an upgraded electric service is needed, you will be required to have an engineering meeting before construction begins. Our engineer will meet with you onsite and help determine your electrical needs.
